Mission

ServeOK serves as a bridge to connect the Christian Community with needs in central Oklahoma.

Vision

Our community relies on ServeOk to provide the tools and awareness that unify the body of believers to meet the needs in our diverse communities.

How We Began

In February of 2007, a handful of Christian women contemplated: “What would happen if Christians took what they had gained from their many Bible Studies and prayer groups and put that knowledge back into the community with hands-on zeal?" That vision formed Revive, Inc. (a 501c3 non-profit corporation).

Several conferences and events have been held over the years to connect the body of believers to the needs of OKC. A bus tour was one of the events in which took pastors wives around to the nonprofits to learn more of what they do and how their churches could be involved in serving.

Sharefest was an annual event in which churches were encouraged to plan a day of service at a local nonprofit. 100s of Churches participated through Sharefest to serve OKC. In 2012 Revive began looking for new ways to help the body of believers to connect to the needs in the community.

From the search Meet The Need was found which offers a free web platform for nonprofits and churches to best connect to the needs in their community. Revive decided to enter into a partnership with Meet The Need to become the hub for the platform in Oklahoma City. A new website called ServeOK.org was established. In 2014 the ministry began using ServeOK as the trade name.
