The Humans of Oklahoma Project strictly adheres to HIPAA standards and facility privacy guidelines in all of our patient and senior storytelling work. No patient identities or protected health information are ever featured on this site without explicit legal consent from the individual or their guardian.
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the contact form. Our pediatric patient support program operates on-site at partner healthcare facilities under those facilities' own privacy and consent policies, not through this website.
Data Retention & Security
We retain contact form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or fulfill the purpose for which it was submitted, and we take reasonable steps to protect information in our care from unauthorized access or disclosure.
